Frequently asked questions
Q.What engagement formats do you offer?
R.Classic day rate for short missions (sprint, MVP, critical feature), fixed-price for clear deliverables (MVP in 6 weeks, targeted refactor). First sprint adjustable to gauge real velocity before committing to what's next.
Q.Do you code solo or can you scale a team?
R.Solo up to 2-3 months on contained scope (MVP, initial platform, strategic feature). Beyond that, I bring in devs from my network (front, back, mobile) — you keep one point of contact, I lead the team. Full sourcing, no hidden margin on their daily rate.
Q.What stack do you use?
R.TypeScript / Next.js / Node.js by default (the fastest combo to ship to prod). Go or Python for specific constraints (perf, AI/LLM, data processing). PostgreSQL, Prisma, AWS. I've been coding agentically since 2025 (Claude Code) — you gain 20-40% velocity.
Q.What's the typical kick-off timeline?
R.One to three weeks depending on my workload. For an MVP, we typically pencil in a kick-off at D+15. For urgent firefighting (prod on fire), I can move in 48h if available.
Q.Who owns the code?
R.You, 100%. Repo on your side, license yours, no dependency on my tools. I can leave my signature in the README if you want, or stay invisible — your call.
Q.How does collaboration work?
R.I join your Slack, Linear or Jira, GitHub. A written daily update, a weekly call if needed, and code reviews with your team when you have one. Demo at every sprint end. Handover includes knowledge transfer so your team can take over.
